Gurudev and Kamini’s Teaching Highlights
Gurudev traveled to New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Palm Springs. He andKamini taught together in New York City and Los Angeles to an enthusiastic group. While in NY, Gurudev and Kamini met with the directors of one of the largest utility companies in the country to discuss how they might introduce the Amrit Method® of Yoga Nidra into the workplace. Gurudev also received an overwhelming response from the Indian community when he gave a seminar at the Hindu Temple in Tampa, FL.

Kamini’s travels took her to Seattle and Guemes Island, WA; Pueblo and Denver, CO, and Baton Rouge, LA. In Guemes Island, she was greeted by a full house who wanted to learn about “Living from Spirit”. In Pueblo, Kamini lectured at the Center for Inner Peace and participated in the opening of Paula Bayer’s new Amrit Yoga studio. Her first-ever seminar in the Denver area was greeted with 30 participants. Her topic was “Finding Equilibrium Under Pressure”. The group had fun with one of their challenges – using chopsticks to carry pebbles across the room to a waiting teammate in a relay race. Kamini’s travels concluded with a trip to Lotus Yoga Studio in Baton Rouge. The owners had learned of the Amrit Yoga Institute online, but had never met any of our teachers in person. They were so touched by Gurudev’s writings and interviews that they simply called one day and asked a teacher to come. At least two of their group will be attending teacher training.

Global Connections
The Amrit Yoga Institute is in communication with the owners of a chain of yoga studios in Shanghai, China. The owners want to expand their scope all over the East and want to offer yoga teacher trainings through the Amrit Yoga Institute. 

Gurudev is in India through mid-January receiving traditional Ayurvedic treatment called Pancha Karma at the newest branch of a well-respected facility for Ayurvedic medicine in India, Arya Vaidya Sala. Gurudev shared that his intention for his time in India is both to deepen his own sadhana and also to explore the possibility of bringing the power of Ayurveda to the West through partnership between the Amrit Yoga Institute and Arya Vaidya Sala.
