Biography
Instructor Mimi Pribble Scott began the practice of yoga in 1970. In the early 1980’s she had an encounter at Kripalu with Yogi Amrit Desai that changed her life. Gurudev taught her that “You are the creator. Whatever you think, that is what you create, and that is what you become.” And so she left the competition of the corporate fast lane, earned her first certification in bodywork in 1988, and national certification in 1994. Still practicing bodywork therapy and energetic healing, Mimi’s Amrit yoga classes include all levels. A theme of her classes, which she also learned from Gurudev, is living a joyful, playful life.
