Biography
John has studied and practiced yoga and meditation with Gurudev Shri Amritji for over 30 years. A Senior Teacher and seminar leader at the Amrit Yoga Institute, John is skilled at blending his understanding and experience in simple, engaging teachings that offer program participants opportunities to move more deeply into practice. John is a preacher’s son, a Vietnam era veteran and a graduate of Rutgers University. He has developed the Amrit Method® of Integrative Relaxation from Yoga Nidra in order to reach people who would not readily come to yoga. His community seminars and workshops in the Amrit Method® of Yoga and Integrative Relaxation have been presented nationwide to corporations, hospital staff, community service groups, recovery programs and educational organizations. He also conducts on-going programs in the Florida. |
